Why believe in Colombia?

This talk is the product of four years of continuous research with university students (Los Andes, EAFIT, Javeriana, Nacional and CESA universities) on the positive aspects about Colombia.

It is structured in three areas: 1) Analysis of the Colombian issue, 2) Is it all worth it? And 3) What role do I play? Its purpose is to empower the audience to build the Colombia we deserve.

This talk has been presented to the Millennium Board in Cartagena, Colombia (composed of Mitsubishi’s World Chairman, AOL’s founder Steve Case, Lorenzo Zambrano, Gustavo Cisneros, Violly McCausland, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and his cabinet and the ambassador to the US, Alberto Moreno), to renowned businesspeople, to 82 universities and schools, to the governor and mayors from the Putumayo department, to the Chamber of Commerce’s Presidents Forum, to the Young Exporting Entrepreneurs at the Presidential Palace, to the Young Policemen program in the Kennedy neighborhood in Bogotá, to the banking convention, to the three presidential candidates of the last election, to the Colombian beauty pageant contestants over the last three years, to the telecommunications convention, to the accredited diplomatic body serving in Colombia, to Colombians in London, Madrid, Miami, New York, Boston, Quito, Mexico, Los Angeles, Washington, Houston, to companies, textile manufacturers, communities, guilds and associations.
